2023 Fall Championship Thursday
Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer and Field Hockey champions were crowned tonight in the LL League Playoffs presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
One more LL League champion is yet to be crowned this fall. The Girls Volleyball finals will be Hempfield vs Elizabethtown at Manheim Township on Saturday, October 21st at 1 p.m.
2023 Girls Volleyball Round 1
Section 2 Champion Ephrata hosted the first round of the LL League Girls Volleyball Playoffs, presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
Section 2 came out on top all around.
The Bears and Mounts advance to Thursday’s Semifinals at Section 3 Champion Octorara.
Ephrata vs Hempfield at 5 p.m.
Octorara vs Elizabethtown at 7 p.m.
2023 Fall Semifinal Scoreboard
Field Hockey, Girls Soccer and Boys Soccer were all in action, contesting the semifinals of their respective tournaments, presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
Boys Soccer finalists are Elizabethtown and Warwick. They will play for the trophy on Thursday, October 19th at 5:30 p.m. at Warwick.
The Field Hockey Finalists will be Manheim Township vs Warwick. Finals are slated for 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 19th at Donegal.
The last championship game on Thursday will be Girls Soccer as Manheim Township faces off against Hempfield. That game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Warwick, following the boys Soccer Championship.
2023 Cross Country Championships
It was a new venue but familiar faces at the 2023 LL League Cross Country Championships presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
Being an odd year the girls had the first crack at the South Hills Park Course in Lebanon. A flat course made for blazing times as Hempfield’s Ella Wolfe cruised to the win.
Manheim Township came away with their third LL League Cross Country Championship in a row.

2023 Girls Volleyball Playoffs
The 2023 Girls Volleyball Playoffs presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster gets underway Wednesday, October 18th.
Girls Volleyball is a three section sport, so byes and hosting privileges are assigned on a rotating basis. This year Section 1 Champion Hempfield and Section 3 Champion Octorara have first round byes and are placed directly in the semifinals, to be hosted by Octorara.
Section 2 Champion Ephrata has the honor of hosting the three section runners-up in the first round on October 18th:
Elizabethtown vs Penn Manor at 5 p.m.
Ephrata vs Lancaster Catholic at 7 p.m.

2023 Cross Country Championship Information
The LL League Cross Country Championships presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster has a new home for 2023: South Hills Park in Lebanon.
As is traditional for an odd-numbered year, girls will race first at 4 p.m. with boys to follow at 4:45. Please note that admission will be charged as vehicles enter the parking areas. Single drivers are $5, a driver and one or more passengers is $10. Cash is accepted at the parking lot, or parking passes may be purchased in advance online at
Parking is available at the Klein Avenue entrance to the park, the South Lincoln Avenue entrance, or at Lebanon High School.
Important Note About The Course
As seen on the course map below, the course does cross over on to the grounds of the Lebanon VA Medical Center. This is Federal Government property and no spectators will be permitted on to the Lebanon VA grounds.
Awards, including Section Champion trophies, individual race place finisher medals, and League Championship team awards will be presented starting at 5:30 at the pavilion located near the finish line.
2023 Girls Tennis Flight Tournaments Conclusion
The LL League Girls Tennis Flight tournament presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster has concluded.
Sienna Castelli of Lancaster Country Day School was the lone returning champion, and she successfully defended her title, besting teammate Sophia Babar in the finals in 3 sets.
Castelli and Babar also paired up to win AA Flight 1 Doubles.
On the AAA side, top seed Jade Flores of Conestoga Valley won her first AAA singles title.
In Flight 1 AAA doubles, Haley Miller and Jade Miller brought home gold for Manheim Township.
