The finals for the 2023 LL League Girls Tennis team tournament presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster are set, and it will be an all Section 1 affair.
Manheim Township punched their ticket via a 5-0 win over Elizabethtown. Match results were:
- 1 Singles: Haley Miller 6-3, 7-5
- 2 Singles: Jade Miller 6-1, 6-2
- 3 Singles: Catherine Sanchez 6-0, 6-1
- 1 Doubles: M. Sanchez & M. Lamichane 6-1, 6-4
- 2 Doubles: L. Briner & M. Keares 6-4, 7-5
Hempfield clinched a 3-0 over Lancaster Country Day School 3-0 with first and second singles remaining unfinished
- 1 Singles: Sophie Carson (HF) vs Sienna Castelli (LCD) 3-6, 6-2, DNF
- 2 Singles: Alex Gregory (HF) vs Sophia Barber (LCD) 5-7, 5-2 DNF
- 3 Singles: Lydia Sullivan (HF) 6-3, 6-1
- 1 Doubles: S. Felices & L. Over 6-3, 6-4
- 2 Doubles: R. Durrett & R. Wendel 6-4, 6-0
The finals are slated for Tuesday, October 3rd at Donegal
