A recurring theme this spring, the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster Boys Volleyball playoffs are almost set.  One spot is still to be decided pending results from tonight.

Quarterfinals will be Friday, May 13th:

• Ephrata or Lancaster Mennonite at Hempfield at 4 p.m.
• Warwick vs Elizabethtown at Garden Spot at 5 p.m.
• Manheim Central vs Conestoga Valley at Hempfield at 6 p.m.
• Penn Manor at Garden Spot at 7 p.m.

Semifinals will be Monday, May 17th at Garden Spot, Finals Wednesday, May 19th also at Garden Spot.

Boys Volleyball Bracket

The field for the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster LL League Baseball playoffs is almost set.  The Section 2 Runner-Up is still undecided with 3 teams in contention and 6 different games that could factor in to that outcome.

The other 7 spots are all set, and the quarterfinals will be played on Saturday, May 15th at the home field of Section champions:

• Cocalico at Lampeter-Strasburg at 10 a.m.
• Section 2 Runner-Up at Manheim Central at 10 a.m.
• Annville-Cleona at Manheim Township at 11 a.m.
• Warwick at Lancaster Catholic at 1 p.m.

Semifinals are slated for Tuesday, May 18th at Ephrata, finals Thursday, 5/20 also at Ephrata.

2021 Baseball Bracket

The 2021 Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster  LL Lacrosse championships are set.

The finals will be a boys-girls double header at Conestoga Valley on Thursday, 5/13.  The Boys final will start at 5:30 p.m., Manheim Township takes on Hempfield.  The Girls final will follow (7:45 p.m.), pitting Manheim Township vs Cocalico.

Boys tennis serves as a great appetizer for the smorgasbord of LL Playoffs that is the second and third weeks of May.  The first item on the buffet line presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is lacrosse.

Despite a few games yet to be played on the league schedule, Girls Lacrosse is settled.  Semifinals are Tuesday May 11th at Ephrata.

• Cocalico vs Hempfield at 5 p.m.
• Regular season champion Manheim Township vs Conestoga Valley at 7:30 p.m.

The Boys Lacrosse standings are still in flux with a key game remaining.  In Section 1 Hempfield currently leads with Manheim Township in 2nd.  Both have qualified for the LL Playoffs, but if Manheim Township beats Warwick (game to be played 5/10) the Blue Streaks and the Black Knights are Section 1 Champions.  Should the Warriors prevail Hempfield claims sole possession of the Section 1 crown.  Regardless, Hempfield gets the top seed out of Section 1 by virtue of a better District 3 Power Rating.  In Section 2 Lampeter-Strasburg is champion, with Conestoga Valley nabbing the other playoff spot.

The Semifinals are Tuesday, May 11th at Cocalico.

• Hempfield vs Conestoga Valley at 5 p.m. 
• Lampeter-Strasburg vs Manheim Township at 7:30 p.m.

Finals will be a Boys-then-Girls double header at Conestoga Valley.  Boys will start at 5:30 p.m. with girls at 7:45 p.m.

As the presenting sponsor of the Lancaster-Lebanon League, Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is once again offering FREE physicals exams for LL League athletes.

At the North Pointe Blvd office in Lancaster appointments are available on June 22nd and July 14th.  At the Cornwall Rd. office in Lebanon appointments will be on June 28th and July 29th.  All athletes should get the appropriate paperwork from their school to bring with them to the appointment.

All 5 singles brackets have been completed as well as the AAA doubles.  Remaining doubles finals will be on Tuesday, May 4th at 2:30 p.m. at Hempfield Rec.

Completed 2021 Flight Tournament Brackets

At the risk of jinxing Monday’s finals, it appears the weather has improved as the competition improved in the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster LL League 2021 Boys Tennis Flight Tournament. 

All brackets are complete through the semifinals and the Flight 1 singles playback matches are done.  The final matches will be played Monday, 5/3 at 4 p.m. at Conestoga Valley.  Singles matches will be first followed by doubles.

Updated 2021 Boys Tennis Flight Brackets

Round 1 of the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster LL League Boys Tennis Flight Tournament is wrapped up.  Play will continue on Saturday, May 1st through the conclusion of the semifinals.  The day will start with doubles matches picking up where they were left off on Thursday.  Singles play will start immediately after the doubles semifinal matches are concluded.  All double matches will be played at Conestoga Valley.  Singles Flights 1 and 2 will also be at Conestoga Valley with singles Flights 3 and 4 at McCaskey.  All singles and doubles finals will be at Conestoga Valley on Monday, May 3rd.

Boys Tennis Singles Brackets through Round 1

The first three rounds of the 2021 edition of the Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster LL League Boys Tennis Doubles Flight Tournament almost wrapped up today.  The remaining semifinal matches will be played Saturday.  The first round of the singles tournament is set for Friday at 4 pm; Flights 1 and 2 at Conestoga Valley, Flights 3 and 4 at McCaskey.
