Do you like to stay in shape? Do you have a passion for the sports you played as a kid? Do you like to make money?
If the answer to any of those was ‘YES!’ then you should become an official. The Lancaster-Lebanon League is looking for officials for all sports in all seasons at all levels. The average varsity official in the LL League makes over $70 per contest* and becoming a PIAA registered official is not hard. The next test date is June 6th, and the PIAA website makes the process even easier.
For details about chapter meetings for your favorite sports, specifics about salaries in the LL League or for any other questions about becoming an official in Lancaster or Lebanon Counties, please contact LL League Executive Director Richard Balderston.
*Payment for officials varies from sport to sport and varies by level within each sport. Varsity officials are the most experienced and receive the highest pay.
