The first round of the LL League Girls Tennis Team Tournament presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is in the books, and the home teams held serve to move on to the Semifinals.
Hosting Manheim Central, Hempfield advanced on a 5-0 sweep. Winners were

- Selena Felices & Lindsay Over: 6-2, 6-0
- Rose Durrett & Rose Wendel: 6-1, 7-5
The Black Knights head to Lancaster Country Day on Monday for the Semifinals.
Hosting Annville-Cleona, Elizabethtown also swept 5-0. Winners were

- Becca Mink: 6-0, 6-2
- Katie Lowell & Noa Williams: 7-5, 4-2 (inj)
- Calla Stoltzfus & Kate Kruft: 6-3, 6-4
The Bears travel to Manheim Township on Monday. Both Semifinal matches will start at 4 p.m.
